BIO 251 Bioethics (Undergraduate) – Fall II

This course explores ethical theories and ethical issues as they relate to biology and health care. Health care providers, as part of the interprofessional team, are confronted with ethical issues when caring for and interacting with patients, families, and society. Understanding ethical theories helps health care providers analyze issues, such as patient autonomy, confidentiality, informed consent, human research, end-of-life decisions and care, and social justice and health care.
