EHS 530 Occupational Health (Graduate)

Occupational Health focuses on the recognition of chemical, biological, and physical hazards in the workplace; the recognition of common safety, fire, and repetitive motion hazards in the workplace, and the evaluation and control of each. Demonstrate
proficiency in concepts of prevention, epidemiology, toxicology, disparities, preparedness, disease management, and health promotion to explain the underlying causes of occupational illness and injury and to provide a methodology to develop cost-
effective programs that prevent injury and keep workers safe.
