IT 502 Introduction to Programming (Graduate)

Introduction to computer programming using common computer languages such as Java and Python. There will be weekly programming assignments using online resources and simple development environments that can run on home computers. No prior experience with programming is assumed, however students who have already acquired some programming skills can receive programming assignments salient to IT tasks such as data mining and hosting web sites.
