ITSC 121 Computer Programming I – Python (Undergrad)

An introductory course in computer science and programming. This course assumes very little previous experience with computers, but some mathematics background is needed. The course provides an introduction to computer application development using a high-level, object oriented, GUI based language – Python. Emphasis will be placed on problem solving methods, algorithms, control structures, documentation and debugging. In particular, this course may be of interest to educators who want to begin to grow their skill sets in computer science in order to be able to teach high school or AP computer science courses.
