Making the Secondary Math Classroom Come Alive with PBL (Workshop)

This workshop will be presented in an online format. This workshop supports secondary math teachers in designing project-based learning units to deeply engage their students in mathematics. We explore the nuts and bolts of designing an effective PBL unit, while ensuring the Indiana Mathematical Process Standards are the cornerstones to the unit. Click here for learning outcomes.

Participants will leave with a draft of a PBL unit they can use in their own classroom next year, and get new ideas for their teaching strategies toolbox.

Prerequisite: None

Workshops are designed to be regional professional development opportunities. Teachers may register for any available workshop that is not within their region; however, STEM Teach does not reimburse for travel expenses.
