Math 511 Numbers Theory – Theory of Numbers (Graduate)

Math 511 is an introductory course in number theory. Topics include properties of the integers, number theoretic functions, congruences, and applications.

Prerequisite: It is assumed teachers are coming to this class with substantial undergraduate work in mathematics.  This is a graduate level course in number theory.  Basic knowledge of discrete math and deductive reasoning would be helpful for this course.
